Introduction

Skyone Data is an integration solution for platforms, also known as an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS).

With a modern architecture rooted in the concept of Privacy by Design, Skyone Data enables different applications to communicate securely and seamlessly, without complex programming, using a low-code approach in a cloud environment.

How It Works

To understand how Skyone Data functions, it’s important to know the following concepts:

  • Modules: Functional blocks that perform various actions in an integration flow. There are three types: triggers, tools, and connectors.

Each module can have multiple operations. For example, a single module might perform different actions, such as retrieving data for a specific client, updating a user in a list, etc.

  • Operations: Atomic API calls associated with a module, which execute preconfigured functions.

  • Flows: A set of rules and instructions for executing modules and their operations asynchronously, integrating two systems.

In Skyone Data, an integration flow begins with a trigger. Then, modules are used for each step required in the data transformation process until the desired outcome is achieved.
